A beautiful white heart contrasting with the dark brown coffee in your cup can elevate a simple cappuccino into a work of art. That is what makes latte art so magical – it transforms your cup into a picturesque landscape.
In this Latte Art Foundation workshop, you will learn the theory and skills behind pouring a latte art. During the first half of the workshop, you will explore how latte art has evolved over the years. You will also learn the theory behind frothing and pouring techniques, as well as how to present a gorgeous cup of coffee. In the second half of the workshop, you will work on the espresso machine to make the most beautiful latte art in a cappuccino.
A basic knowledge of how to work with a semi-automatic espresso machine is desirable, but it is not required. You will be guided on how to brew espressos if you have no prior experience in working with an espresso machine. The instructor will also help you in creating the perfect jug of milk to work with, so that you can focus on the correct techniques of pouring latte art. It is our goal for you to be able to pour a beautiful heart and a tulip in your cup of cappuccino by the end of this workshop.
